Fed: Downer says suspect planned attacks in Aust = 2
The government says it can't comment on whether the man of unknown nationality was
linked an inquiry about using Qantas' flight training facility in Melbourne before September
the 11th.
Mr DOWNER says there is no reason to think his claims are a hoax -- but there is no
intelligence to suggest any immediate threats to Australia -- although vigilance is important.
