Amy Walsh, whose sister Kimberley is part of the massively successful Girls Aloud, will make her professional acting debut in Truck's production of Shakers.
Bradford-born Amy has played the role of understudy while Shakers has been on a national tour, and has been rewarded for her hard work and talent with an extra part being especially written into the play for her to perform during the Christmas run at Truck.
Shakers Director John Godber said: "I had no idea who Amy was when she auditioned but I thought that she was very good and offered her the part of the understudy.
